This is a film adapted from a novel by German author Erich Maria Remarque. I read the book and saw this movie when I was a young boy. The story is told entirely through the experiences of young German recruits and highlights the tragedy of war as experienced in World War I. The filming is quite good for a movie made in 1930. It was remade in 1979, starring Richard Thomas.

Parking is available on the street near to GZ. Once you get to GZ, it should be a fairly quick find for most geocachers. There's nothing tricky or elaborate about this one. Stealth is required because you will be in the open and visible to muggles passing by. It is available 24/7, but be alert and careful if caching at night. I recommend looking for this during daylight hours only because you will be in a residential area. Be sure to replace the cache as you found it.
