This is the site of a lost abandoned Gold Mine very people know about and only a handful have ever found.
You will face many challenges on this multi.
The physical start co-ords take you to a sign. You are looking for a set of co-ords attached to the sign. Use these co-ords to project to the mine entrance a short drive away. You will see the mine entrance on the high side of road ,not the cliff edge drop off side. The hole will be covered with branches.Remove the b ranches .Its only 3 m off the road. About hip level standing.
Once you are at the mine entrance, enter the small entrance and walk 48 m until you get to a cross intersection. There are no other turn offs before this.
At the interesection go left 8m .Clue needed then for the cache location..
Parking is tricky,so park on the side of dirt road to allow any 4WD's to pass, if any. It's remote. .The mine entrance hole is about the height of a garbage bin.
The small descent into the mine involves a 45 degree downhill 1.5m slide on your backside.Once inside, you can stand and need a very strong torch from then, on the flat journey. Your next challenge are the micro bats.
There's plenty -Over 100. Half will remain asleep on the roof which is only 2.5 m high. The rest of the micro bats will be fluttering about, up and down the tunnel constantly, making a squeak noise.Crouch low and keep your torch on and look down. Many micro bats will brush past your arms as you trek. They wont hurt you or bite.They are just nervous about someone in their mine.Take a breather at the cross intersection 48m in and use the clue for the find.
Please replace the well hidden cache properly as found. No pictures of the actual cache hide are allowed in your logs. All other photos are most welcome. There is a log sheet and pencil in the cache.
