Join us for a CITO to celebrate GeocacheAlaska! Inc.'s relationship with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, as well as many community partner organizations, at Reflections Lake, as we help clean up trash to prepare the park for Discovery Day! Find us near the back of the park near the viewing tower. Followong the CITO, you are encouraged to stay and help provide information on Geocaching to Discovery Day attendees.
We are recruiting 'field assistants' to help GeocacheAlaska! Inc. present Geocaching to members of the public visiting Reflections Lake during this Discovery Day from noon to 4pm. If you're interested in helping people learn how to use a GPS or an app to find several close-by day caches, indicate your willingness in your 'will attend' post. We're looking for cachers who can help out during one and a half hour shifts from noon to 1:30pm / 1:30pm to 3pm / 3pm to 4:30pm. You're certainly welcome to spend the entire day with us, or whatever amount of time you can, as we talk about getting outdoors and Geocaching.
Parking is limited. Carpooling in encouraged, so bring a friend!
NOTE: the Knik Arm bridge construction project has affected traffic into Reflections Lake park. Please give yourself adequate time to use a detour route. This cache page will be upated to reflect the expected route needed to exit from the Glenn Highway.
