Angel (Warren Kenneth Worthington III) is a superhero created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. He first appeared in The X-Men #1 (September 1963).
Angel is a mutant that grew large wings giving him the ability of flight. Due to his mutant powers he also posses super strength and speed. Angel is a founding member of the X-Men.
