What: Join us as we trim the edges of the footpaths around the boundaries of the Reserve. During nesting bird season we will just be tickling the edges off to prevent them encroaching on to the footpaths.
Where: Meet up on Laxton Road near the footpath sign that leads down to Green Lane Reserve for 09:30 (see reference point), or after that find us in the Reserve (published coords).
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own gloves and if you have them tools, so if you have shears, loppers and secateurs please do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have them as the Ranger will have a supply too. Please bring a drink and snack for breaktime - trimming can be thirsty work!
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Parking: There is some on street parking on Laxton Road (or in many of the other side streets nearby).
