Located on the far outskirts of Fennville, right where it meets the 'boonies', Oak Grove/Whitemeyer Cemetery seems to have originated as another family burial plot, which was then reappropriated by the township for its own use. There are many unmarked graves here, and though the oldest dates only to the 1890s, there are likely far older burials which are lost to history. The Whitemeyer family has moved on, but their cemetery remains. Why not put a cache in it?
Please do not drive in the cemetery; instead park on the side of the road. Beware of muggles!
This cache was placed in coordination with the West Michigan Road Rally Community Celebration Event. FTF rights were reserved for the event attendees. The caches are guaranteed to be around through the end of August, at which time they are subject to being removed.
