Welcome to the Secret Severn trail! A series of 43 caches placed for the Severn Mega 2025. The walk will take you along footpaths and quiet roads around Tockington, Olveston and Rudgeway with some incredible countryside views and a few glimpses of the Severn Estuary.
Have you ever seen a series of geocaches start with a bonus cache? Well why not!
This is now the 1st cache and was the original bonus cache for the first set of 7. Originally you had to find caches 1-6 for this bonus, insert the missing link followed by the keyword into the checker to obtain the coordinates e.g. missinglinkkeyword but since the first 6 had to be archived this one now stands alone but can be a nice little tutorial to get you started on the series.
HYPOTHETICALLY 
speaking, imagine the first set of 7 were based on the colours of the rainbow. The first six caches contained clues for the colours Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue & Violet; and the sixth cache had the keyword Spectrum inside it. You would insert the missing colour (Indigo) followed by the keyword Spectrum into the checker below to gain the coordinates for the first bonus.
