A Ermida de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, tradicionalmente conhecida como Aguadelupe, é um edifício religioso situado na Raposeira, no município de Vila do Bispo. Foi construída na segunda metade do século XIII, atribuindo-se a sua construção aos Templários, constitui um belo exemplo de capela medieval, de estilo romano-gótica, e, por ter sobrevivido ao terramoto de 1755, é a mais antiga construção religiosa do Algarve. É considerado um dos mais relevantes monumentos históricos na região, devido à seu estilo arquitectónico e à sua ligação ao Infante D. Henrique.
A primeira referência documental à “aldeya do Bispo” consta de uma carta régia de 1329. Com a doação desta pelo rei D. Manuel ao bispo do Algarve, em 1515, inicia-se um período de prosperidade e desenvolvimento, como atesta a sua formosa Igreja Matriz, construída em finais do século XVI. Quanto à aldeira da Raposeira, esta contempla diversas casas com portais do séc. XV e XVI, que atestam da sua antiguidade, possui uma Igreja Matriz do séc. XVI, que ostenta belos portais manuelinos. Foi um dos locais de residência do Infante D. Henrique.
É Monumento Nacional classificado desde 1924.
Com esta cache pretendemos dar a conhecer a quem por aqui passa pelo sul de Portugal um lugar com história, esperando que os geocachers disfrutem das paisagens circundantes no seu caminho pelo nosso belo País. Espero que desfrutem!
Trata-se de uma cache de tamanho pequeno com logbook, stashnote, material de escrita e tem espaço para troca de travelbugs e pequenos objectos.

The Nossa Senhora Guardalupe Hermitage, also known as Aguadalupe, is a religious building located on Raposeira, Vila do Bispo. It was built on the second half of the 13th Century by the Templar Knights, being a remarkable example of a medieval chapel, from the roman-gothic period, and, for not being destroyed on the 1755 massive earthquake that occured on the coast of Portugal and affected all the coastline (specially Lisbon), its the oldest building in Algarve. It is considered one of the most relevant historical monuments of the region by its architectural style and its connection to Infante D. Henrique of Portugal.
The first document mentioning the aldeya do Bispo (Bishop's village) was on a royal letter in 1329. With its donation from D. Manuel to the bishop of Algarve, in 1515, the period of prosperity and development begins, as atested by the Main Church, built in the late 16th Century. As for the village of Raposeira, it contemplates many houses with portals dated from the 15th and 16th Century. It has also been a place of residence for Infante D. Henrique.
It's been a classified National Monument since 1924.
