Not since we bush bashed, looked for and found the Brunner Stunner (GC30AB9) have we been around the lake edge from Moana.
We always preferred coming from Mitchell's.
From there to Bains Bay and beyond was hampered by the demolition of a bridge with its replacement planned to be incorporated with the Lake Brunner Scenic Trail.
We have followed progress and decided to go for a wander.
Lake Brunner
No longer walking along the lake edge now but along a nice well built track that makes its way through pristine native forest for walkers and cyclists alike but with regular access to the lake.
As no trail is complete without a few caches we left an incentive to visit.
