I grew up a John Wayne fan and it was cool to learn that "Rooster Cogburn" was filmed in the countryside of Bend including in this park. So that was the inspiration for this cache. Park in the south lot of Shevlin park. Then enjoy a nice peaceful hike down the Tumalo Creek trail. I hope you enjoy this kid friendly cache.
