May 2025 marks 25 years since the birth of 'Geocaching' (from the unencryption of GPS signals on 2nd May 2000 to the term 'Geocaching' first being coined on the 30th May 2000).
I stated Geocaching on the 15th May 2010 (so 15 years before the day I placed this cache).
It is also my 25th (or 15th) Geocache to be placed!
25 including my 10 'adventure labs' (or 15th according to this website i.e 10th physical container with 5 events held in the past).
This cache is placed along a quant 'Jitty' (local term for urban path between houses) but it's fairly wide at this point meaning you are well distanced from the gardens on either side with their high fences. I hope you enjoy your outing along it.. I hadn't been along it until I walked along it during my routine excercise during COVID lockdowns.
I recomend walking down some of the other 'jities' in the area (i.e. returning via GC9WKXW)?
Also I recommend the various other caches in the village (including a friends 'A Village Adventure - Burbage' set of adventure lab caches if you've not come across those).
This traditional cache is a sizeable container (it's much bigger than an apple but maybe slightly smaller than a shoebox, still it has room for most trackables).
When it was first placed it had plenty of 'swag' in it, please remember to leave something (non perishable!) if you take something.
Please remember to replace it as found but try to ensure it stays hidden from passing 'muggles'.. please use 'leaf' or 'stick-o-flarge' if required to keep it out of sight!
