Historic Walnford, a Monmouth County Park, South of Allentown NJ.
Take Route 539 to Holmes Mill Road to Walnford Road to Park. PARK
AT: 40°08.103 x 74°33.456 NO bushwacking.
This Village is on the National Historic Register. This Village
founded in 1734 gives tours of it's mill, barns and main house. The
mill has been restored and is a definate "must see". The beauty of
the mill pond and surrounding area make for a great history lesson
of time long past. THE PARK IS OPEN 8:00AM to 4:30PM DAILY EXCEPT
CHRISTMAS. Clean restrooms and an area with tables to bring a
lunch. This a family TWO part cache. The listed coordinates are to
part ONE which is a micro containing only the coordinates to the
real regular family cache. DO NOT OPEN part one, read thru
container.
