Geocache Description:

The Marina promenade has been in the making for years now. Every time I walk along it another bit is open, and then the next time different bit has been closed. The closures could stay closed for more than a year, if there ever is a estimate of how long it will be closed for it’s usually months out.

I was at the official opening to mark the completion of the Marina Promenade only a few weeks ago, even then there were bits fenced off and clearly not open. Last week I walked along from Harty’s Quay ( from the south) to here, gathered info for this cache which I planned to place today, but guess what, it’s closed again 🙄. So I had to walk back, drive round and walk in from the other end. The board I planned to use is behind a temporary barrier, so I’ve used this plaque instead. Let’s hope when you try to find this cache that it hasn’t also been cordoned off

At the posted coordinates you will be standing in front of a plaque entitled The Marina Prominade, use the English text ONLY
