Brador was a malt liquor first brewed by Molson’s in the early 1970’s. It had a strong distinctive taste that differentiated it from the run of the mill lagers popular in the day. It also had an alcohol content of 6.2% which was deemed bold for the times although it is much more common now. The boys always felt adventurous when picking up a two-four of Brador, when we were really just overly ambitious young punters. It has gone out of production largely due to the wide availability of similar brews.
