Originally established as a convenience store in 1939, local CDA steakhouse started serving steakhouse fare in the 1970s and became an instant hit. The restaurant occupied the historic original building, and offered a rustic, but cozy ambiance to enjoy classic steakhouse favorites.
The local steakhouse was a Coeur d'Alene staple that attracted staff and patrons for generations. It burnt down on September 2 in a massive fire started by grease buildup on a wood-fired grill in the kitchen.
In an October 24 post on the restaurant's Facebook page, the owners, management and staff, announced they are looking into building the steakhouse.
Allthought I only went 2 times the food was great of course and I am sure Marci and I would love to revist when and if they rebuild.....
