Sātiņu pamatskola atrodas Saldus – Pampāļi ceļa malā, četrus kilometrus no pilsētas. Skolai ir sena vēsture, tājā skolojušies apkārtnes bērni vairāk kā 125 gadus.
Pamatskola tika reorganizēta 2012. gadā un vēl pēc 4 gadiem tur palika tikai 2 pirmsskolas grupas. Pienāca brīdis, kad vienā no skolas ēkām nokrita griestu apmetums un ēkas bērnu izglītībai tika slēgtas. Pavisam tukša tā nostāvēja aptuveni divus gadus. Skolai bija nomainīts jumts un apkures sistēma, tomēr pašvaldības rīkotās izsoles palika bez rezultāta. Vieta atrodas ļoti tuvu Saldum, šobrīd nolemts te veidot mazo uzņēmēju kopienu centru "Sātiņu Darītava."
Teritorijā drīkst iebraukt, nolikt automašīnu un doties pastaigā uz tuvējo Cieceres upesleju. Ja gar upi dosieties Saldus virzienā, ieraudzīsiet skaistu atsegumu, stāvkrastu. Vecākajā (sarkanajā) skolas ēkā ir dzīvokļi pagasta iedzīvotājiem, lūgums netraucēt un nebūt uzbāzīgiem. Uz otru pusi ir vecās kaļķakmens ieguves karjeras, kas šobrīd ir appludinātas un izveidota pludmale ar ģērbtuvēm un atpūtas vietu.

Sātiņi elementary school is located on the side of the Saldus - Pampāļi road, four kilometers from the city. The school has a long history, children from the neighborhood have studied there for more than 125 years.
The elementary school was reorganized in 2012 and after 4 years only 2 preschool groups remained there. There came a time when the ceiling plaster fell in one of the school buildings and the buildings for children's education were closed. It stood completely empty for about two years. The roof and heating system of the school had been replaced, but the auctions organized by the municipality remained without results. The place is very close to Saldum, currently it has been decided to build a small business community center "Sātinu Darītava" here.
You can enter the territory, park your car and go for a walk to the nearby Ciecere river. If you go along the river in the direction of Saldus, you will see a beautiful outcrop, a steep bank. The oldest (red) school building has apartments for the residents of the parish, please do not disturb and do not be intrusive. On the other side are the old limestone quarries, which have now been flooded and a beach with changing rooms and a rest area has been created.
