Walk swiftly around the edge of the course towards the clubhouse to find the container hidden on the edge .
Health & Safety
While a good walk will do us all good, this is across heathland and not always on regularly used paths, long grass is likely to be encountered and various numbers and types of wild animals are likely to lurking in the undergrowth, be prepared
Take care when crossing roads and when near water
There will be seasonal refreshment on the course, there is certainly apples & blackberrys
Course Etiquette
If there were sand bunkers on the golf course you would be expected to re-instate the sand surface with a rake before moving on, thereby ensuring that everyone has the same fun - the analogy being that once the cache is found, put it back as you found it thereby ensure the challenge is the same for the next finder
This is a cache which has resulted in a number of people filing a "Found it" where in fact, by their own addmission they have spotted the container and failed to open the container, retreive the log and write their names on it - To date, 25th August 2025 some people have had their logs deleted which does nothing for the statistics. The answer this is park close by, leave all your TOTT in the caching wagon, size up the problem and go and get the kit then all the fun can start. Of course if you do not have the TOTT then please "Write Note" about the need to think the problem through and then something about returning in the near future to put that yellow smilie face on your page,
