Ehemalige Mayr-Brauerei
Wir beginnen diesen kurzen Multi-Cache bei der ehemaligen Mayr-Brauerei. Diese wurde 1666 gegründet und kam 1876 in den Besitz der Familie Mayr, die bis zur Schließung im Jahr 2003 hier das Mayr Bier hergestellt hat.
Ab November 2010 fanden Sanierungs- und Bauarbeiten statt um die Polytechnische Schule (PTS) des Bezirks Kirchdorf an diesem Standort unterzubringen. Aufgrund diverser Probleme (die sich auch in den Kosten ausgewirkt hatten) wurde mehr weggerissen und neugebaut als ursprünglich geplant. So beschränkten sich die Auflagen des Denkmalschutz letztendlich auf die Erhaltung des Turms sowie der Mauern Richtung Süden und Westen. Nach mehrjähriger Bauzeit inklusive 25-monatiger Unterbrechung wurde am 12. Februar 2015 Schule eröffnet und übersiedelte damit von der Kirchengasse in die Ertlstraße.

ASKÖ Sportplatz
Im Sommer 1922 wurde der Kirchdorfer Arbeiter-Turn- und Sportverein (ATSV) gegründet. Durch die Verbotsgesetzte wurde er 1934 zwangsweise aufgelöst und Ende 1946 neu gegründet. Die 1947 gegründete Fußballsektion spielte ursprünglich beim Kino-Platz, wo sich heute das Feuerwehrzeughaus sowie der Busbahnhof befinden. 1954 wurde hier in der Ertlstraße ein neuer Sportplatz eröffnet und 1971 das Vereinsheim gebaut. 1978 kam es zur Umbenennung in ASKÖ Kirchdorf/Krems. Die angrenzende Stocksporthalle wurde 2012 eröffnet. Neben diesen beiden hier beheimateten Sektionen gibt es seit 1998 die Sektion Eishockey, die auf dem nahegelegenen Kirchdorfer Eislaufplatz (Tennishallen) trainieren.

Mayr-Kapelle
Der Nischenbildstock befindet sich am Verschönerungsweg der Kirchdorf und Micheldorf verbindet. Die Kapelle ist der Mutter Gottes Maria geweiht und wurde in der zweiten Hälfte des 17. Jahrhunderts von den Besitzern der ehemaligen Brauerei errichtet.
Nachdem die Kapelle am Ende der Nuller-Jahre in einem schlechten Zustand war, kam es zu einem Zusammenwirken der Stadt Kirchdorf mit verschiedenen Vereinen und Organisationen zur Revitalisierung des Nischenbildstocks. So arbeiten etwa Rotary Kirchdorf und der Lions Club zusammen – von weiteren lokalen Organisationen gab es finanziellen Beiträge. Am Mittwoch, 26. Oktober 2011 wurde die Kapelle nach der Restaurierung wieder eingeweiht.

Ehemalige Mayr-Brauerei
We start this short multi-cache at the former Mayr brewery. It was founded in 1666 and came into the possession of the Mayr family in 1876, who produced Mayr beer here until its closure in 2003.
Renovation and construction work began in November 2010 to accommodate the Kirchdorf district polytechnic school (PTS) at this location. Due to various problems (which also had an impact on the costs), more was torn down and rebuilt than originally planned. In the end, the requirements of the monument protection authorities were limited to the preservation of the tower and the walls to the south and west. After several years of construction, including a 25-month interruption, the school opened on 12 February 2015, moving from Kirchengasse to Ertlstraße.

The Kirchdorfer Arbeiter-Turn- und Sportverein (ATSV) was founded in the summer of 1922. It was forcibly disbanded in 1934 due to the prohibition laws and re-established at the end of 1946. The football section, founded in 1947, originally played at the cinema square, where the fire station and bus station are located today. In 1954, a new sports ground was opened here in Ertlstraße and the clubhouse was built in 1971. The club was renamed ASKÖ Kirchdorf/Krems in 1978. The neighbouring curling hall was opened in 2012. Mayr Chapel
The niche wayside shrine is located on the embellishment path that connects Kirchdorf and Micheldorf. The chapel is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and was built in the second half of the 17th century by the owners of the former brewery.
After the chapel was in a poor condition at the end of the noughties, the town of Kirchdorf joined forces with various associations and organisations to revitalise the niche wayside shrine. Rotary Kirchdorf and the Lions Club, for example, are working together - other local organisations have made financial contributions. On Wednesday, 26 October 2011, the chapel was rededicated following its restoration.
