The archery course is set up by the Park Rangers, camp host and the boy scotts help every year with putting out all the targets. Throughout the year they try to move things around and update the shots. The friends group help with purchasing new tartgets as well. Every year they host at least 2-3 archer tournaments(you can find the info on the facebook page) the course consists of 30 targets with distances varying and difficulty of the shot is different with every one. you are welcome to walk the course if you would like to see what it is about we just asked that you stay on the marked trail and respect any shooters who may be on it. You can make donatiions right at the course or purchase passes to shoot at the camp store.
Not may people are saware that this course is back here and if you are looking for something calming to do this is it. It is a course that is fun no matter what your age. They also have a few targets set up outside of the woods on paved plaths so that people who may need a wheelchair or other adaptive equipment can participate aswell.
Please check in with the park attendents before attempting this or any of the geocaches on this project either by going to the entrance station or my checking in with them at their site.
