A cache hidden to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Blue Switch Day! On May 2nd, 2000, the US government discontinued Selective Availability on the GPS satellites making GPS technology accurate for everyone. And with that Geocaching was born the following day on May 3rd in Oregon.
This is a simple cache hidden off the Pleasant Run Trail in Fountain Square. It is easily accessible by bike or on foot from the trail. The nearby intersection is fairly busy so it will take some stealth but it should be easy enough to hide your searching. There is no need to unscrew anything at GZ to find the cache. There also is no need to go underneath the bridge to find the cache.
