I wanted to place a cache in honor of Syracuse Fire Department Station 32 that will open soon (June 2025) at the southeast side of Jensen Nature Park. Come walk the trails and gather some smileys at the caches in Jensen Nature Park while you admire our new firehouse.
About the fire station: It is the second fire station in Syracuse. Set on 3.14 acres, the 17,153 square foot fire station will include four apparatus (emergency vehicle) bays, living quarters, and training and office spaces. It will share common features with buildings in Jensen Nature Park and have a connecting walking path to local trails.
Recommended parking: Park in the pullout lane on the side of Bluff Road. It is approximately 3 car lengths long and has access to the sidewalk that will lead you to the cache. It is not recommended to park AT the cache location.
