This series should get you to take a walk around the Point Waterfront Canals
Try not to do these as park and grabs
The Point Waterfront Canals in Durban are part of a revitalization project that transformed the area into a vibrant, mixed-use precinct. Originally built to help circulate water for uShaka Marine World, the canals now serve as a central feature of the area.
They offer a range of activities including:
- Gondola rides (by Zulumoon Gondolas) for romantic or scenic experiences
- Pedal boats for family fun
- Luxury canal cruises for sightseeing
- Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) for active visitors
The canals also have ecological importance, hosting over 30 species of fish, including tropical reef fish and young hammerhead sharks.
