We are officially 6 months into 2025. Although I won't be able to reach my goal of 17 CITOs this year due to frequent cancellations from the host of the forest restoration events, my goal is still to host one trash cleanup CITO per month, for a total of 12 CITOs this year. To celebrate the beginning of summer, we will be cleaning up the Rainier Beach neighborhood along Rainier Avenue South, a busy road known for attracting trash. There seems to be ample street parking nearby, but park at your own risk.
I will only be providing trash bags. Please bring your own trash grabbers and/or gloves.
