This cache is placed in the location of a former cache that had been here for years. In fact it was one of the very first caches I ever found! The cache went dark 5 years ago, however. popollo & wifey published the original cache, named: "Denmark one and One" in 2012. I was disappointed to find the cache archived, and decided it was time I placed a replacement. To my surprise, I found the old cache on the ground next to where is used to be, but in a different container than I remember. So I put that behind my new placement if anyone wants to see the old one, or if the original COs want to retrieve it for themselves.
This cache is placed above Buck Meadow Brook, which runs off into the Saco just to the south. The waterway comes from the bog-like body of water visible from the other side of the road. There is a small connecting trail from the bog to the Brownfield - Denmark Elementary School. I remember, when I was at school there taking short walks to observe the nature in this spot.
There should be ample room most of the year to park on the shoulder and this should be a pretty quick park & grab.
