Purple's Plod 3 - In the woods Traditional Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

Purplecavingcat: We have just received notification from Forestry England that thinning work is to be started in this plantation next week, continuing through the summer months.

To keep both the cache containers (and the wonderful cachers who visit our caches) safe, we have chosen to disable these caches until the forestry work is complete.

Hopefully works will be completed before the end of the summer and we will reinstate the caches as soon as that has happened.

We have left a handful of caches in this loop active as they should be unaffected by the works. We will keep monitoring the situation and amend as necessary!

You are looking for a small camouflage container. The tree cover is thick, so the coordinates can be unreliable - use the hint if you need it.

Please hide it carefully, where it can't fall.

The Purple's Plod Series is a three-mile geocache loop in the woods, consisting of thirteen caches. The walk is on a mix of tracks and paths, which may sometimes be muddy. Allow at least two hours to complete the loop. You will need tweezers to retrieve some of the log books from the cache containers. Mobile phone reception in this area is poor - I recommend you download all the cache details needed before setting off.
