Geocaching Adventure in Bradner Preserve – Hidden in Nature Geocaching in Bradner Preserve is a peaceful, rewarding escape into one of Wood County’s most tranquil natural areas. The trails wind through tall grasses, wildflower meadows, patches of quiet forest and BIRD WATCHING!! As you start your search, you’re guided not just by your GPS or smartphone, but by a growing awareness of your surroundings—the whisper of wind in the trees, the rustling of small animals, and the anticipation of discovery. Your destination is just outside the nature center building—not inside, so there's no need to enter or disturb any structures. Following the coordinates, you approach a lightly wooded area near the edge of a clearing, just off a walking path. The container is about the size of a large vitamin bottle—watertight, sturdy, and discreet. Inside is a rolled log sheet, a few small trade items (like a toy soldier, a marble, or a miniature compass), and a pencil.
