Once you park on Old Chester Road, find the public footpath near the public traffic light crossing leading between the houses. Follow the path for a few meters then turn right into the fields.
Walk straight up and once past the trees in the second field turn right following the little woodland. Your treasure search begins in the far corner sneaking in by the fence separating Highfield Road.
This field used to be a sports field of a nearby school. You can still see the old rugby poles out there. The school has been replaced by a new housing estate and we are greatful to have at least little bit of greenery left. In early spring the small woodland is full of deliciously smelling wild garlic and in late spring the meadow yellows up with wild flowers, mostly buttercups.
