Welcome to the Coyote Creek Lagoon area of Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge! It's part of the larger Baylands network of trails that runs all along the southern edge of the San Francisco Bay and provides access to the unique wetlands ecosystem in this area.
This cache is hidden at a cool bridge on the West Lagoon Trail. You're looking for a small container reachable from the bridge without stepping down, but putting one foot on the ground might be helpful once you spot it. The hint will tell you which corner to search.
This trail system is open sunrise to sunset. Bicycles and fishing allowed, but dogs and hunting are not. Happy hunting!
*** This cache is part of the Geocachers of the Bay Area (GBA) Cachin' the Bay 2025 Passport Series. Completed passports are no longer being accepted, since the Block Party is over, but the caches in the series will remain active for people to find! ***
