In 2010, the wise oldbadger said, "Frogs, Frogs, everywhere! How did they all get into this decon container near Los Gatos Creek? We can only wonder."
The original Tiny Frogs was active from 2006 until 2016 with 506 finds and 43 favorites. Sadly, oldbadger is no longer with us, but his legacy of creatively designed and cleverly constructed caches remains. Many of his original creations are still active (including Tiny Muggles just down the trail) and several have been re-created to keep them alive for future cachers to enjoy.
This is a recreation of the original Tiny Frogs in a very similar, but not identical, style and location. It's designed to be a bit easier to access from the trail but still to hide in plain sight. The cache requires a few steps off the trail and careful footing, but should be no more than a T2. The cache requires no tools, only a gentle hand to retrieve and replace it.
The Los Gatos Creek Trail has no posted hours. Bicycles and dogs are allowed. Happy hunting!
*** This cache is part of the Geocachers of the Bay Area (GBA) Cachin' the Bay 2025 Passport Series. Completed passports are no longer being accepted, since the Block Party is over, but the caches in the series will remain active for people to find! ***
