Desværre er der begrænset plads til flere caches i Tvismark Plantage, så cachen er ikke placeret lige op af start, men ca. 300 meter herfra.

Mindestenen blev fundet ved hedeplejen i 1990 og støbt i fundament af Per Petersen og Bent Bleeg 15.10.1990.
Den daværende skovfoged Martin Reimers, fandt den ene af de 3 og historien går på at det var 1 tysk soldat og 2 danske byggearbejdere der blev venner under etableringen af anlæg på Rømø. Cement stjal de fra byggeriet og sandet er Rømøsand, derfor ingen sten i og den bliver gullig i regnvejr. Da cementen var stjålet fra vernemagten, gemte de mindepladen så ingen fandt den før 1990.

The memorial stone was found at the heath care in 1990 and cast into the foundation by Per Petersen and Bent Bleeg 15.10.1990.
The then forester Martin Reimers found one of the 3 and the story goes that it was 1 German soldier and 2 Danish construction workers who became friends during the establishment of facilities on Rømø. They stole cement from the construction and the sand is Rømø sand, therefore no stones in it and it turns yellowish in the rain. Because the cement was stolen from the Wernemaggt, they hid the memorial stone so no one found it until 1990.
