Geocache Description:

Park in the Foote St cul-de-sac. Walk towards the river then follow the pathway south under the bridge til you reach the trailhead.

A disused sub-station. Not recommended with kids. This area can be reached by walking along the trail and accessing the structure via a damaged/torn down fence area. The area is ruins. No working elements. On placing this cache, there was a tree across the trail so you may have to divert off the trail for a short distance.  Recommmend gumboots or Blundstones during winter as it was very boggy and wet underfoot. Thistles, gorse and blackberries around the trail, but actual area where cache is hidden isn't too bad, however, there IS a lot of rubbish, bricks, wire, etc. so please take your time and take care. Not a cache to be rushed. Lovely views out to the river and I have no doubt that many a fisherman has his secret fishing spot along this way.

Log book and small swaps. BYO pen. Please open cache container carefully to retrieve log book and swaps so that Items don't fall through the grid floor you are standing on. Please ensure lid is placed back on firmly.
