We will meet at the trailhead. It is ok to be late but we will wait for no longer than 5 min after start time, so you may have to go searching for a big group of people. It is ok to be early, but preferably less than 15 min early. I will be bringing some trash bags but it is encouraged that you bring your own. We will not be providing gloves for everyone! If you would like to have gloves, please bring your own! Come by and help us clean up! The reviewer would also like me to say that it is encouraged that you bring your own water. It may be hot out. Be prepared for any weather. Rain coats for rain and water for sun. There are trash bins at the preserve. We can dispose of our trash there. Hope you see you there!
A few new caches may be published in the preserve.
Biggest find of the first CITO (GCAN4KN): A $20 bill.
Biggest find of the CITO (GCAWKZB): A soccer ball stuck 3 ft up in some vines.
Biggest find of the most recent CITO (GCB24Q0): A tiny pair of doggie shoes.
Hope we find something cool this time too!
How I run these: We'll meet in the parking lot and talk for 5ish minutes waiting for people to show up, then we walk around as a big group getting trash along the way.
Side note: some CITOs in other places let you split up, I'd like to have everyone as a big group so that there is more of an incentive to socialize.
If you didn't know about the official geocaching chat app, Lilypad Chat, here is the link to the LONYCT group (the link only seems to work if you have the lilypad chat app on your phone). I may post updates about upcoming events and other things on there if you would like to join.
