*** Cache *is not* at the posted coordinates. ***
This Multi-cache cache starts at a historical plaque in front of Mission Santa Clara de Asis. It is the namesake of both the city and county of Santa Clara, as well as of Santa Clara University, which was built around the mission. This is the only mission located on the grounds of a university campus. Although ruined and rebuilt six times, the settlement was never abandoned, and today it functions as the university chapel for Santa Clara University.
Read the plaque and answer the following questions:
1. What month and date was the Mission originally founded (represented as four digits MMDD, Jan = 01; Dec =12; dates 01-31)?
2. What year was the college founded (four digits)?
3. What year was the sponsoring alumnus graduated (four digits)?
4. What year was the plaque placed (four digits)?
Concatenate the 16 digits from the four answers and enter the result into Certitude. Note: this is a numeric keyword solution, not a coordinate solution. Certitude will provide you the final coordinates which are a moderate scenic stroll from the plaque.
You can validate your puzzle solution with
certitude.
