NO PHOTO LOGGING; SIGNATURES ARE ALWAYS REQUIRED TO CLAIM FINDS ON PHYSICAL GEOCACHES.
Welcome to the Eastern Outpost of West Seattle's Needful Things* series!
This cache will bring you to two interesting sights along the newly completed Seattle Waterfront Park. South of the cache is the historical 1920 metal pergola Washington Street Boat Landing, now repurposed. At ground zero is the entrance to the marvelous Pioneer Square Habitat Beach. The gates to the beach are open from 7:00am to 10:00pm.
The new location, effective July 8th, means the cache can now be grabbed from the sidewalk, even when the gates to the beach are closed. The cache is magnetic and, depending on your angle and the last cacher, may be visible from the sidwalk. Please be a sneaky geocacher and practice your sleight of hand so the container does not get muggled.
And, remember, no photo logs are allowed. As is expected on ALL physical geocaches, signatures on the log paper are required to claim the find. If you don't have a pen/cil, please come back and search for the cache when you do.
(*What are these “Needful Things” cached around West Seattle, and now leaking into Downtown Seattle, and what do these titles mean? These "wordy" titles are designed especially for geocachers who enjoy the now-grandfathered word challenges. In addition to your daily 😀, 7 words/phrases in this title can be used towards the Additional Logging Requirements (ALR) on various word challenges. Refer to the linked Needful Things bookmark list for other useful titles in the series and to see what challenge types these words meet.)
Happy Caching!
