The Ma On Shan Promenade is a public open space located on the northwestern waterfront of Ma On Shan in the New Territories.
The 3.2-km-long Ma On Shan Promenade overlooks Sha Tin Hoi and offers a magnificent view of the peaks of Pat Sin Leng, featuring a panorama of the sea and the sky.
The Promenade also offers a wide array of facilities, such as fitness stations, a jogging trail and a bougainvillea garden. In order to promote environmental awareness, wind turbines providing electricity to some of the floor lightings as well as solar and wind hybrid lamps without carbon dioxide emission are installed in the Promenade. Toilets and water stations are also available to the public so bring your own refillable water bottle.
Easy access to kids and family with strollers. It can be done in about 35 min or can be an enjoyable 60 min stroll. The place is flat and wide, and most of the uneven areas are equipped with ramps. The ramps are relatively flat and are very suitable for wheelchair users.
It’s also part of a 23-kilometer ride spanning from Wu Kai Sha to Tei Mei Tuk an easy costal cycle track route around the Tolo Harbor.
