This cache is placed in honor or my friend JimLips.
I met Jimlips in 2009 when I started geocaching. I was a noob and rookie hider trying to figure out this crazy game. Jim introduced himself to me with a photo of his bleeding head after he had an accident mountain biking to my first hidden cache. He went over the handle bars cracking his head on a rock and thought it would be funny to share the experience with me in an angry tone. The message read something like "Well thanks for the cache! You almost killed me!!!!" I was mortified!! Took me a few years to understand that humor of his. Ok i'll be honest I'm still working on it. Over the years Jim has introduced me to many a fun toy. Drones....Electric Bikes.....and 3d printing. All which have been really fun to partner with geocaching.
Jim has showed me the way and fixed all my technical issues and even gifted me past gadgets. Like a mentoring big brother always with a prank up his sleeve. At this very field from this spot Jim flew his drone for me and let me have my first go at it.
