I was excited to see another open space added to downtown Edmonds. It's quite small but worth a visit if you happen to be walking down Main Street (or in between acts at the nearby theater). There's a very brief circular trail that's a perfect labyrinth if one is in a ponderous mood. It's also worth reading about some of Shell Creek's wildlife and how the ecosystem is all connected.
If you need to cross the street, I'd recommend doing so at 9th Ave so you can take advantage of the crosswalk, given Main Street often has significant traffic. Good luck and please respect park hours.
