Geocache Description:

Now that GeowoodstockXXI is in the books, to what can we look forward? How about a Flag Day Flash Mob?! Wear your red, white, and blue, and join us in showing your patriotic spirit. We'll meet near the voting building. After passing out some flags, we'll do a bit of patriotic waving if you'd like to stay.

Most people celebrate Memorial Day and Independence Day and skip right over Flag Day. We don't; it's actually our wedding anniversary.

Here's a little history for you. Flag Day, observed annually on June 14th, is a United States holiday that celebrates the adoption of the national flag. The Continental Congress officially adopted the design of the Stars and Stripes on June 14, 1777. The day is a time to display the flag, participate in parades, and other patriotic events.
