THIS GEOCACHE IS PLACED WITH PERMISSION OF PROPERTY OWNER. ME
IT IS NOT IN THE BUSH BECAUSE THE GNOMES AND SALAMANDERS LIVE THERE SO PLEASE DON'T SEARCH THROIUGH THE BUSH
Trash Trash or Treasure? Geocachers have become very good at turning some trash into very interesting geocache hide containers. After all, the original cache was in a bucket, mostly buried in the dirt, and contained a can of beans, among other things. Geocache Hiding Guidelines are forever changing to keep us all up to date and preserve the game. Because of this, hiding rules are ever changing. Keep up to date y'all.
But, as always, every geocache log needs to be inside a container. What type of container -- well -- that could be many things. It should be watertight, unbreakable and durable to be outdoors. After that it is up to you. We have found lock 'n' locks, plastic jars, tin cans (not a great idea here on the wet coast) CC Specials, (thanks cache crop) and then there are the baggies with logs tucked into many items. Children's toys are a favourite for some, home made containers of all descriptions (thank you to very creative folks) and well ... some cast off, perhaps broken or not working, items too great to mention.
Now, there is the hint section on the page. This is too funny, sometimes. 1) 'next to the tree' was a hint for a forest hide. 2) 'look for purple ribbon' well, often the cache was found but not the purple ribbon. Thanks anyway. 3) 'same hint as all my caches' oh, that's a great hint, especially for newbies. well, you get the idea.
So, unlike the first 'stash' this geocache is not in a bucket, does not have a can of beans, and well, it is just different.
If you are still reading this - thank you - and now I must remind you the geocache container was placed by cache onwer/property owner . Me. But, I don't really like to give hints most of the time. Some days, I might.
It is there you just need to look, sign the log to get your credit for the find, and replace as found. Many thanks.
Sometimes I will see cachers searching and say hello. Sometimes you get so sneaky I won't see you. Or, I might not be home.
But ~~~~ sign the darn log with YOUR writing thing because I did not put one in the container.
Thanks for visiting. You didn't miss the purple ribbon, or any coloured ribbon, simply because there is none here. Maybe next time.
