Good ol' Garbage Clean Up CITO
Happy Father's Day - a CITO for mom, a CITO for dad...
This trail leads from the Maquabeak boat launch past the "Chelsea's trail" series. It is strewn with garbage all the way along. We can easily walk along it, picking up the trash as we go... Absolutely no going near the highway at any time, follow the trail. There could be mud at some points, don't wear your nicest white shoes! At the end is an old Garbage dump site (waypoint on the trail) where we can work with our friend with purpose - Web of Life if we wish. We'll bring out what we collect to the parking area to cart back and have a small meet for a photo. Optional post event to follow near parking, at the picnic tables...
I will have a few tongs for grabbers if you don't have your own. Or wear gloves. If you can bring a coveted shopping bag or bucket to help collect trash, that would be appreciated. I will have my wagon, but if you also have a cart or wheelbarrow that you want to bring to help gather up/carry the the bags back to parking, it might be helpful!
