I recently attended my first GeoWoodstock. What an experience it was! One of the things I learned is that geocachers must have an arsenal of geocaching tools. Because of my experience in Morgantown, I recently acquired several new tools which were very useful in my caching adventures. Now I want to use these tools to hide caches.
The puzzle is similar to one I saw in WV. After you solve the puzzle there is a checker to confirm you have the correct coords. But solving the puzzle is only half the journey. You will have to have a specific TOTT to be able to sign the log.
Please be aware of the D/T rating and the attributes. You do not have to do this cache. Know your limitations. No smiley is worth an injury.
Please remember the following rules:
- The container is permanently mounted in its current position. It is not removeable. You have to go to it to sign the log.
- You MUST sign the physical log in order to claim a find. Just seeing the container does NOT count as a find. Logs without a signature on the physical log will be deleted; don't make me the bad guy.
- I encourage each finder to photograph the physical log with their signature on it and upload it with their Found It log. This is proof that you did sign it.
- This cache should not be done at night for safety reasons and common sense.
The Final can be found at N40 18.??? W076 49.???
Have fun and be safe in your caching journey.
