Hear ye, hear ye. Let all come and see the precious crown jewels of Windsor. Be ye a thief or merely a gawker. Enjoy the lusterous shimmer of my baubles; see how they glisten in the sunlight. Please take what you wish but leave your treasure and your log entry as tribute.
The Windsor Castle is surrounded by a moat of houses. Each of these houses has an overseer to guard the king's domain, you know, private property, so you can't get there that through the "gates of Windsor". But there is another way to sneak around the guards. You needn't trespass or sqweeze through any barbed wire, just a short hike from the carriage route that transverses the Valley of Stone.
Original contents were:
- 6 Crown Jewels (decorative paperweights, about 1 pound each)
- Crystal candlestick
Update: although the cache is high and dry, thieves have managed to steal all of the precious jewels and left tawdry imitiations, costume jewelry, glass beads, and the like. Guess my guards should be drawn and quartered.
