This raft launch was just built a year or so ago. Right now the base reaches the water, but in the summer it's about 15 feet from it! They dam the lake up so much now that the river dwindles a lot. I have a family member that used to kayak down the Priest River all the time. I'm sure it was a lot of fun!
Be very careful of the river right now, and watch your kids and pets. The river is very swift now, until summer.
