Cronulla's beaches are the only coastal area within greater Sydney serviced directly by a rail link from the Western Suburbs. From as far back as the early 60's they have attracted visitors and been a major part of the social life for all of Sydney.
The Surfing movement has been built around the need to provide protection and assistance to everyone who want's the experience that the beaches offer and can trace it's beginnings back to starting here in the early 1900's
The walk that you have completed to find this Bonus cache is one I do regularly and provides a lot of special photographic locations. An additional challenge (should you choose to accept) is to post a series of 6 photos (one for each of the surfing beaches visited) in your log for this cache that captures life at the locations you have visited along the way.
That's correct, the cache is not located at the posted coordinates and yes, there is a field puzzle to work through for access to the cache container.
You don't have to do the walk again however you should have picked up the information along the way.
