Geocache Description:


Not much is known about the Ashbrook property, other than it was selected by John Staunton in 1885 at the same time the land for Nil Desperandum was selected! It is unknown how many buildings were on the site. All that remains today is the remains of hearths from the original hut, elms and a quince tree.
But it is a lovely spot to visit and reflect!
