Hallo, geocaching friends! Or as they say here in Taiwan, 你好 (nǐ hǎo)!
This cache marks the spot of an unforgettable exchange semester at the National Taiwan University (NTU) – a journey that started with visions of learning Chinese and ended with a deep, abiding love for… well, almost everything else this incredible island has to offer! I came all the way from Germany, a land known for its efficiency and, surprisingly, its distinct lack of 24/7 convenience stores on every corner. Oh, how I've learned to appreciate a good convinience store at 3 AM!
It was right here at university that I met a great friend, @Alex3312B, and introduced him to the awesome world of geocaching. He was a bit skeptical about hitting the trails with me at first, but the promise of hunting for hidden treasures—even if they were just plastic containers—proved irresistible! Alex absolutely loves solving puzzles and the thrill of those finds turning into smiles on the map.
