"Happy trails" is a folksy way of saying goodbye and wishing someone well, especially on a journey or adventure. It's similar to "godspeed" or "bon voyage" and implies a wish for a safe, enjoyable trip.
If you're a geocacher, what is NOT to love about a trail. Wisconsin is full of trails that just beckon a geocacher to throw on their hiking shoes, grab their bicycles or throw on the backpack and head on out and grab a few caches. Our state is proud to have the National Ice Age Trail (1200 miles), a part of the North Country National Scenic Trail, 41 State Trails and countless other hiking/walking/biking trails.
And local geocachers (and those who want to travel) have a new WGA sponosored state series to look forward to. This new series, highlighting Wisconsin's 41 state trails, will be launched in September of 2025 in conjunction with the Fall picnic which will take place at Lake Emily near Amherst!
Wherever your adventures take you while you are at the West Bend Cache Ba$h, Happy Trails to You!
