Join us for an afternoon celebrating Independence Day! We will host this, rain or shine!
We will be having a cook out with cornhole, volleyball, walks in the woods (bring boots if there's been rain), good food and lots of company.
If you plan to stay after signing the log bring a camp chair, something to drink and a side dish (not required). BYOB (adult beverages are ok and even encouraged! - just remember it's a family thing!)
Plumnutz and MissLatitude will provide hot dogs, hamburgers and bottled water. Plus we always have some sides!!! We also have the games, plenty of tables and all the fixins for the burgers and dogs! If you are bringing a side dish and can post what you are bringing it will help to not have too many duplicates. (nothing ever gets wasted! LOL)
My family and non caching friends will also be in attendane. We host this every year and decided to open it up to all my caching friends. It's always a good time - and there's always a lot to keep everyone busy. Kids are welcome! This is the second year we have opened it up to cachers and decided to make the log book available the full time of the picnic.
Weather permitting there will be a bonfire after dark. Last year we got a pleasant surprise of an amazing fireworks show. Hoping for that again this year.
For those that are travelling and may not have the ability to bring a camp chair, don't worry, we have extras!
