Geocache Description:

History

The Drouin Golf and Country Club has a history dating back to the early 20th century, with golf played on various private properties before the formalization of the club in 1902.

Peachtree Drive in the nearby Fairways Estate, is named after Peachtree Golf Club in Georgia (US), and gives views across a waterway to the golf course.

Look out for wildlife

There is a healthy population of wildlife in the area and families of ducks are often seen wandering down Peachtree Drive and surrounding streets, so please drive slowly and give way to locals.

The Cache
The cache is a camouflaged 300ml round screw top container with a log book and space for a few small swappables. BYO Pen.
Please make sure the container is closed properly when returning to its location, to ensure it remains nice and dry.

*There is no need to enter the wetland vegetation or the waterway, please be kind to the local wildlife and don't leave any rubbish behind*
