Geocache Description:

Thurmond Lake/Clarks Hill area HYDROCACHE, near public boat ramp.

From the GA side take Hwy 28 into SC and go from there. When you are on the Scotts Ferry Rd. Look for a sign that says "Road ends in Water" the trail starts here but you may want to park in the parking lot and walk back to it. At the head of the trail is several fallen trees but they are easily passed. When you can see DOWN-hill on your LEFT,follow the game trail towards the water.

Original contents of cache: Ammo Box with 3 candy canes, cd wallet, flag, razor cutting tools, car, pocket knife, oriental fan, logbook and pencil.

1/13/03 This cache is now accessible by boat only. You will need to just put in at the boat ramp and then follow your GPSr. The hint is for land accessibility and may not help you much. If you must attempt this by land in the winter, look to the hint for guidance.
